BING CROSBY (1931) Bing’s first radio appearance, delayed because of a severe attack of laryngitis. Harry Von Zell introduces this excerpt from Bing’s first 15 minute broadcast as an “exclusive Columbia artist.”

PHILCO RADIO TIME (2-19-47) Bing Crosby stars with John Scott Trotter and the orchestra and announcer Ken Carpenter. Guests are Judy Garland, director Leo McCarey and vaudevillian William Frawley.

SCREEN GUILD PLAYERS (10-14-48) “Welcome Stranger” starring Bing Crosby, Barry Fitzgerald and Mona Freeman in the story about a young, carefree doctor who fills in for an older, vacationing physician in a small town.

SALUTE TO BING CROSBY (1-9-51) On the occasion of Bing’s 20th anniversary in show business, Art Linkletter hosts an all-star CBS program in honor of The Groaner. Guests include Amos ‘n’ Andy, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, Judy Garland and Bob Hope.

BING CROSBY ENTERTAINS (1934) An early Crosby program from Hollywood. Bing sings “Blame It on My Youth,” “Easy to Remember” and “Lullaby of Broadway.”
