CBS RADIO WORKSHOP (1-17-56) “Brave New World” — Part 1. A fine radio adaptation of the novel by Aldous Huxley. Narrated by Huxley, the cast features Joseph Kearns, William Conrad, Bill Idleson, Vic Perrin. Nintysix identical “beings” have been cloned from one human egg, all pre-conditioned for their role in a new society where people are “produced” assembly line-style in the image of hero Henry Ford.
