AMOS ‘N ANDY (1958) On their 30th anniversary on network radio, Amos, Andy and the Kingfish interview their creators, Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll.
THE WHISTLER (10-31-48) “Letter from Yesterday” starring Ed Begley. On the way to his daughter’s wedding in California, a successful businessman remembers his escape from prison some 25 years earlier.
BOB HOPE SHOW (2-17-48) Bob’s guest is Fred Astaire in this broadcast from Woodland Hills, California. Regulars include Jerry Colonna, Vera Vague, Trudy Irwin, Les Brown and his band of renown. Fred and Bob appear as a pair of down-and-out vaudevillians.
OUR SPECIAL GUESTS are vaudevillians FRANK and EILEEN KRASE, who talk about their long career in show business. Recorded 10-4-70 at the Brown Bear Restaurant, Chicago.
BLONDIE (2-16-50) starring Arthur Lake as Dagwood, Ann Rutherford as Blondie with Hanley Stafford as Mr. Dithers. Alexander’s teacher encourages Blondie and Dagwood to allow their son to follow an acting career.
