He was born May 9, 1918 and was 71 when we met during our Those Were The Days program at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago. He recalled his radio days working in Detroit at WXYZ and in Chicago at WMAQ. Mike Wallace died April 7, 2012 at age 93.
