By phone from his home in Southern California, this beloved man of many talents and voices was a live guest on our Radio Classics program on WBBM, Chicago. Listeners had an opportunity to call in and talk with him about his career on radio and cartoons and his book, “That’s Not All Folks!” He was born on May 30, 1908 and was 80 at the time of this broadcast. He died just ten months later, at age 81 on July 10, 1989.
