He announced the Tom Mix Ralston Straight-Shooters program and many other Windy City-originated shows such as Captain Midnight, Ma Perkins and The Right to Happiness. He came to our WLTD studio in Evanston, Illinois during a live broadcast of Those Were The Days to talk about his career, which included ten years (1942-1952) announcing the Tom Mix program.
