She was among the writers, editors, reporters and anchors added to the staff of WBBM Newsradio, Chicago after switching to all-news in 1968.  She joined the station in 1973 as a writer, did some producing and after several years became a general assignment reporter and news anchor. We spoke in preparation for the book, “WBBM Radio, Yesterday and Today.”
