Actor who played the character Silly Watson on Fibber McGee and Molly during the show’s Chicago run and also appeared in such shows as Bachelor’s Children, Woman in White, Road of Life and That Brewster Boy. He was born May 31, 1900 and was 76 when we spoke in his Encino, California home. He died May 26, 1978 at age 77.
