What a wonderful celebration today at the 45th Anniversary Show! It was so much fun putting faces to all the voices I've heard for so many years...I've always looked forward to Saturday afternoons... listening to some of the old radio shows I remembered as a child.
Chuck, I have enjoyed TWTD for these many years. It has wonderful to re-listen to the WW11 broadcasts. Even though we know the outcome, it is almost exciting to listen to these "live" broadcasts especially as the war heats up as we near the end. Thanks so much for bringing them to us.

Chuck going through the scrapbook I remember so many of the Saturday afternoons waiting for TWTD to start because you had a great lineup of my favorite radio shows . Fibber and Molly, Jack Benny, and World News Today to name a few. I will have to retire so I will have the time to hear those shows the second time around. Your WWII shows are inspiring and should be used as history lessons in high schools. Thanks to Steve TWTD goes on and is on solid ground thanks to the great foundation you created 45 years ago. Thanks for the memories.

Chuck, I was happy to hear you again on the radio this past Saturday. You seem to be as busy as ever. I emailed you around the time you retired from "Those Were the Days" and questioned you about a soap opera I listened to in Green Bay in my younger days. "The Second Mrs. Burton". It was interesting to hear that it was one of the longest running CBS soaps but that few were recorded. One other comment--I often find myself reflecting on the difference between the radio and the tv version of a series. I often think of "Gunsmoke". The tv version was, in my opinion, ok. But William Conrad as Matt Dillon on the radio could not be beat. Thanks again for all you have done and are doing to make the past radio era present to us today. Best wishes, Ron

This site is wonderful. The interviews are priceless and of great interest as well as historical value. And I can't believe all the TWTD broadcast are available. Thank you for all the work this took to put together - and all the great years on TWTDs. You've left a terrific legacy.

Chuck, it has been a delight to hear all the wonderful Old Time Radio shows you have provided over these many years. I first heard you when I moved to the Chicago area in 1979 and have been a Nostalgia Digest subscriber ever since.
One treasure you have provided to us and to future generations is the large collection of interviews with so many people who were part of the Golden Age of Radio. It is always a pleasure to re-listen to them via your new website.
But the best gift you have given to so many people has been your enthusiasm and love of Old Time Radio. You have conveyed this in every program! Moreover, you have created that same love and admiration to unknown thousands of people. Your legacy is one you may take great pride in, and for which a vast audience will be forever grateful!
Best Wishes to you in your "retirement" and may you long bask in the warmth of the Arizona sun and in the glow from your many appreciative admirers.

It's wonderful to have access to this site with all its excellent content. Thanks again, Chuck, for making this available to us. As someone who grew up listening to you & your fantastic show, I suspect I remember it the way you remembered all the programs from your youth.
If I may, I'd like to make one suggestion regarding this site; that's to install social media icons, which would permit us to "Like" easily link & share content with others.
