DUFFY’S TAVERN (12-24-48) “A Christmas Visitor” stars Ed Gardner as Archie, manager of Duffy’s Tavern, “where the elite meet to eat.” In a warmhearted departure from the usual comedy situation, Archie is unhappy that he’s not getting a Christmas bonus. A stranger, played by Jeff Chandler, takes him for a walk and shows Archie the real meaning of Christ­mas. Bristol Myers, NBC. (29:00)
