  1. I remember as a Cub Scout visiting the studio where Kukla, Fran and Ollie was being produced. It is hard to believe that was about 60 years ago.

  2. Marvelous! Remember an earlier interview with Fran on Those Were the Days, when she was visiting in Chicago
for an award (Ithink). It was the funniest piece of audio I’ve ever heard and makes me wish for Mr. Peabody’s Way-back Machine! Is there a chance that it’s in “the vault” somewhere?

  3. I listened to this first on the radio. And the Jon and Sparky radio show which had The Teddy Bear’s Picnic as its beginning theme song. Loved all those old radio shows. I am 68. I can remember radio before tv.

  4. I was in love with Kukla, Fran, and Ollie as a kid, and never missed the live television series that aired from 1947 to 1957…I was very sad when it was taken off the air..I have been an OTR collector for over 50 years and sadly there are only (3) episodes of KFO that are available…I cherish them….I remember the first radio show that played over the airwaves on October 13, 1952…It was a fifteen minute show, and I loved it…Thank you for the expertise of this website and thanks for the memories!
