One of radio’s most versatile actresses who performed on the air with Bob Hope, Abbott and Costello, Burns and Allen, Jimmy Durante and on such programs as Blondie, Fibber McGee and Molly, Life of Riley and Maisie. She was born September 19, 1904 and was 83 when we spoke with her in her Brentwood, California home. She died March 6, 1992 at age 87.

It was great to hear Elvia Allman. She was one of my favourite supporting comedy actresses in radio. It’s a shame she did not remember more. Thanks for capturing this.
