Arthur Anderson

Child actor whose career began in New York with roles on Let’s Pretend from 1936 to 1954 and who appeared on Aunt Jenny’s True Life Stories. He also worked with Orson Welles on the Mercury Theatre. He had a long-running career, from 1963-1992 as the voice of Lucky the Leprechaun for Lucky Charms commercials on TV. He was born August 29, 1922 and was 76 when we spoke in Newark, New Jersey at a meeting of the Friends of Old Time Radio convention. He died April 9, 2016 at age 93.
