David Denwood

A big-time movie buff and a long-time friend of ours Dave Denwood had attended the auction of motion picture memorabilia and artifacts at the Culver City, California studios of Metro Goldwyn Mayer. He joined us on the air to report on the event and reminisce about those good old movie days. A few years later, in 1976, Dave and Chuck partnered to open Metro Golden Memories, the show business nostalgia shop in Chicago. Dave was born on November 2, 1928 and was 41 at the time of our conversation. He died April 22, 2014 at age 85.
