Ray Erlenborn

Sound effects man who created audio patterns for such programs as Burns and Allen, Blondie, Al Pearce, Big Town and Silver Theatre on the CBS Radio Network from 1937 – 1950 and then moved to CBS-TV for another 27 years of behind-the-scenes sound-making. He was born January 15, 1915 and was 83 when we spoke to him at the Friends of Old Time Radio convention in Newark, New Jersey. He died June 4, 2007 at age 92.
