I remember so well as a child, born 1939, my mother listening to the AM radio station and listening to Mary Backstage Wife. The radio was all we had at that time, and mom found solace listening as she did her chores. Thanks for the memories.

I never got to meet Miss Fridell, but I did know two of her cousins well so it was a thrill for me to hear her voice. Her family was gifted in so many of the arts and were really lovely people.

Vivian Solomon’s husband Ben Solomon was my grandmothers Kathryn Solomon married to Sylvan Solomon they were brothers. They grew up in Chicago and Sylvan was a jewelry owner moved to Rhode Island and met Kathryn Greene and married and had my mother Genevieve was the only child. My grandparents moved to Bristol Va. opening a shop for years and retiring they moved to Ft. Lauderdale where he passed in 1986 and she passed in 2003! They are survived by my parents with 7children and great-grandchildren! My parents said taking them back in time has really brought the memories back about Mary Noble with our family! This is really a treat to listen about her as we were growing up then and now at the age of 85 they both love this!! Thank-You
