Ed Haaker

He was a war correspondent for the National Broadcasting Company during World War II and tells of his experiences surrounding the D-Day invasion of France in 1944. He was born in 1910 and was 83 when we talked with him on the phone from his home in Pacific Palisades, California.  He died at the age of 92 in 2003.

  1. His name is spelled Haaker. There is no “c” in it.
