Recorded April 29th, 1990 - 58 min

Jim Jordan, Jr., the son of radio’s “Fibber McGee,” came to Chicago for the dedication of the “Fibber McGee and Molly Exhibit” at the Museum of Broadcast Communications. We invited him to be our guest on the WBBM Radio Classics program and he talked about his parents and their careers and what it was like to be the child of such famous radio stars. He also took calls from listeners and reflected on the Museum exhibit and the re-creation of a Fibber McGee and Molly program that marked the dedication of the exhibit. Jim Jordan, Jr. was born in 1923 and he was 67 at the time of our conversation. He died December 24, 1998 at age 74.
