I thought Gloria did a great job in Our Miss Brooks. We have an extensive collection of the TV shows, and love her performance.

I know this is an older post, but if anyone can tell me the answer to my question, PLEASE do so. I adore the radio version of Our Miss Brooks and I am curious about Minerva the cat. Who performed Minerva’s distinctive meows and why did the studio audience crack up the first time Minerva meowed in each episode? I believe it was Miss Arden, but I’d like to know for certain. Another question — who voiced Mr Boyington’s bullfrog McDugal? Was it Mr Chandler? BTW, I think Miss MacMillan is a fine actress (outstanding in Centennial) and a very charming lady.
