Clayton Moore

Recorded June 20th, 1986 - 18 min

He was The Lone Ranger on television and we had a chance to talk about his career shortly after I had the pleasure of introducing him to a huge crowd during a personal appearance in his home town of Chicago at the Civic Center.  He was born September 14, 1914 and was 71 when we spoke on the phone (he didn’t want me to see him without his mask). He died December 28, 1999 at age 85.
