An actor on radio before his television, movie and theatrical career began. He appeared on hundreds of radio broadcasts, including I Love a Mystery, Mr. District Attorney, When a Girl Marries, Portia Faces Life, FBI in Peace and War and The Henry Morgan Show. He was born February 26, 1920 and was 50 at the time of our chat at the Ambassador East Hotel in Chicago. He died May 17, 2004 at age 84.
