Actor who owned a familiar, yet versatile voice that brightened many a comedy and dramatic show on radio. He was Pasquale on Life with Luigi; Falstaff Openshaw on The Fred Allen Show; he was the original Daddy to Fanny Brice’s Baby Snooks. He was born August 20, 1907 and was 68 when we met in his large, rambling ranch-type home, tucked away in a beautiful residential corner of Hollywood, California. He died June 14, 1977 at age 69.
