Singer who was Dennis Day’s replacement from 1944-46 on the Jack Benny Program while Dennis was serving in the Navy. He was born in 1923 and was 75 when we met him at the Friends of Old Time Radio convention in Newark, New Jersey.
Larry Stevens died April 5, 2000 at age 77.

Really enjoyed this interview. The Jack Benny radio show was by far the Best. To hear Larry Stevens, an actual member of the cast, tell what it was like to be part of such a talented outfit was a delight. We’re lucky to be able to hear these wonderful shows after so many years.
