Danny Thomas

The nightclub and television superstar had a career in radio that began in Detroit, continued in Chicago and took him to Hollywood, where he appeared on the air with Fanny Brice, Don Ameche and Frances Langford. He was born January 16, 1912 and was 59 when we talked with him backstage at the Mill Run Theatre in suburban Chicago.  He died February 6, 1991 at age 79.
