North West Federal was the first –and a long-time- sponsor of our “Those Were The Days” radio program. In addition, we spent a good number of happy years as a staff member of the Association.  Therefore, we devote this Gallery to the much-loved and fondly remembered financial institution. It’s gone, but it’s not forgotten.

NORTH WEST FEDERAL was mentioned three times on Ray Rayner’s morning show on WGN-TV Friday, March 28, 1980. It was during an interview with film star and Olympic swimmer BUSTER CRABBE. Buster was in town to appear that weekend at the 300-seat Clyde B. Reed auditorium at NWF’s main office on Irving Park Road.
