FIBBER McGEE AND MOLLY (12-24-40) The McGees receive a package intended for delivery to their next door neighbor, Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve: a radio-phonograph combination, which Fibber accidentally wrecks while opening the package.
OUR SPECIAL GUEST is actor DON AMECHE who talks about his career on radio, especially with Bergen and McCarthy, W. C. Fields, and the Bickersons. Interview recorded at Pheasant Run Playhouse on December 7, 1971.
ONE MAN’S FAMILY (12-25-50) Book 81, Chapter 21. “Christmas with the Barbours.” Henry Barbour reads a letter from Pinky. Fanny Barbour plays “Silent Night” on the piano.
ADVENTURES OF OZZIE AND HARRIET (12-19-48) “America’s favorite young couple” decide on a practical Christmas gift for each other: a radio-phonograph combination. And the Nelsons also agree not to exchange personal gifts.
