JACK BENNY PROGRAM (12-7-41) Second of two consecutive, related shows as Don Wilson
criticizes Jack’s performance last week in the “Jekyll and Hyde” sketch and comes up with a sequel of his own. On this broadcast, from the day of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the program is interrupted twice, once for a Civil Defense bulletin and once for a War bulletin. FORD THEATRE (3-4-49) “The Horn Blows at Midnight” starring Jack Benny in a radio adaptation of Jack’s infamous 1945 movie. A great cast includes Claude Raines, Hans Conried, Mercedes McCambridge, Anne Whitfield, Jeanette Nolan, Jane Morgan and Joseph Kearns. Jack is the Angel Athaniel, sent to destroy earth.
