LINDBERGH’S ARRIVAL IN WASHINGTON D.C.  (6-11-27)  A rare, very early historic radio broadcast carried by some 50 stations in the U. S.  Graham McNamee covers the arrival of Charles A. Lindbergh at the Washington Navy Yard as he returned to the United States after his history-making non-stop flight across the Atlantic to France.

LUX RADIO THEATRE (10-7-40) “Wings of the Navy” starring George Brent, Olivia deHavilland and John Payne in a story of pilots being trained for combat as brothers compete for the same girl.

CBS DOCUMENTARIES (7-2-60) “The Last Flight of Amelia Earhart” presents an eyewitness and documentary accounting of the fate of aviatrix Amelia Earhart Putnam and her navigator Fred Noonan who disappeared on July 2, 1937.
