Saturday, April 29, 2000
To complete 30 years of Those Were The Days broadcasts, this special program from the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago featured a live re-creation of the Lux Radio Theatre presentation of “The Maltese Falcon” starring Ken Alexander and the Those Were The Days Radio Players. The accompanying score was provided by Paul Renard at the Hammond Electric Organ. The 30th anniversary show also features selected excerpts from past TWTD programs, guests and a number of surprises.
