ONE NIGHT STAND #27 (1944) Phil Harris and his orchestra in a remote broadcast from a nightspot in the U.S., probably in Hollywood. Terry Harmon shares vocal honors with Phil, who sings “Shoo, Shoo, Baby” and “G. I. Jive.” The band is featured on “Night in the Jungle,” “Always,” and “Stompin’ at the Savoy.” AFRS rebroadcast. FRED ALLEN SHOW (5-19-46) Guest Phil Harris shows up asking Fred to get him a job on the radio panel show “Information Please.” The Allen’s Alley question deals with safe driving and later Phil joins Senator Claghorn for a Harris version of Allen’s Alley called “Tobacco Road.” Portland Hoffa, Kenny Delmar, Minerva Pious, Alan Reed, Parker Fennelly, DeMarco Sisters, Al Good­man and the orchestra.
