JACK BENNY PROGRAM (3-14-43) Orson Welles subs for Jack who is still ill in Chicago. Phil Harris returns to the show after a stint in the Merchant Marines during WW II. Welles takes the gang to his studio to see a picture being made.

BEN BERNIE WAR WORKER’S PROGRAM (1-12-43)  The old maestro, the King’s Jesters and Caesar Petrillo’s orchestra in a program dedicated to WW II women war workers.

JACK BENNY PROGRAM (3-21-43) Jack’s is still unable to appear on the show because of his extended illness. Orson Welles subs during this WW II broadcast.

WORLD NEWS TODAY (2-28-43) Douglas Edwards and CBS correspondents with news of WW II. “Allied forces have repulsed a new Axis attack in Northern Tunisia and they’ve captured hundreds of enemy troops.”

JACK BENNY PROGRAM (3-28-43) Orson Welles continues to sub for the ailing Jack Benny. Orson and the cast present a play, “Death at Midnight.”

RED CROSS CAMPAIGN (2-28-43) Special program opening the 1943 War Fund Campaign of the Red Cross. Messages from FDR, General Eisenhower, Admiral Nimitz. WW II program.

JACK BENNY PROGRAM (4-11-43) Jack returns to the program after an extended illness. Orson Welles drops in for the sketch, “Jack Benny from Rags to Riches.”
